A consultation has been launched on a new Falls Prevention Strategy for Cheshire East. The consultation gives you the opportunity to make your views known on the strategy’s priorities, actions and aims. This will help us ensure that it meets the needs of local people in the most effective way.

The Strategy has been drafted by the Cheshire East Falls Prevention Working Group which consists of a range of organisations including Cheshire East Council, Eastern Cheshire Clinical Commissioning Group, South Cheshire Commissioning Group, and other public sector and voluntary organisations. The group meets on a regular basis to implement actions to tackle the issue of falls in Cheshire East. The strategy will help to guide this work.

The consultation runs until the 8th March, following which a revised strategy will be presented to the Cheshire East Health and Wellbeing Board.
