STOPTOBER is a national annual campaign created and funded by Public Health England. And it’s back again!

The main purpose of STOPTOBER is to encourage smokers to make a quit attempt and stay quit for the month of October…at least. There is the evidence showing that if a smoker can stop smoking for 28 days, they are even five times more likely to quit for good.

STOPTOBER 2020 has a new branding ‘Better Health’ and is loosely associated with current challenges brought by the Covid-19.

This year STOPTOBER focuses on two different audiences – primary audience of smokers aged 35 -60 and a secondary audience of younger smokers aged 18-34.

STOPTOBER app was built to give smokers additional support allowing smokers to track their progress, see how much they are saving and get some daily tips.

Don’t worry if you didn’t join on 1st October, we’re here to help all year round. Sign up to Be Smoke Free for free help and support during your quit
